Weight Loss Via Hypnosis

Filed under: Hypnosis Weight Loss — EatingToLive @ 6:41 am

There’s been a surging interest in the art of hypnosis for weight loss, and there’s a good reason for it.  Unlike many temporary fixes, hypnosis can offer a liftime of changed eating habits and a new outlook on eating and diet, because it essentially reshapes the subconscious and looks for triggers to overeating and eating the wrong things on a deeper level, instead of just addressing it by taking herbal weightloss supplements and appetite suppressants, which can definitely be a great jump start to a diet, but they don’t address the underlying reasons for weight gain and weight problems.

Hypnosis of course, also needs to happen on an ongoing basis, although it definitely enters a maintenance phase after a little while where it only needs to be repeated when the person feels it’s effect is “wearing off”, or they need a refresher, so to speak.  I’ve of course had my own success with hypnotherapy for weight loss, so I can definitely endorse it and say that it makes a huge, lasting difference in your appetite and the way you view food and even exercise.

There are excellent CD’s you can buy now that offer hypnsosis help for losing weight, and there are also even credited and licensed hypnosis professionals that you can look up in your local phone book or perhaps ask around and get referrals to someone good.  Heck, I’ve even been hearing on the radio lately about these group hypnosis sessions where people sit in a group and get hypnotized by a professional to do things like quit smoking and to lose weight, and supposedly this can be equally effective, although of course the issue with follow up is better addressed if you have self hypnosis cd’s at home where you can pull them out any time you feel you need a refresher.

Either way you slice it, hypnosis can be an incredibly effective way to lose weight and reshape your eating and exercise habits.  It’s better any day than doing drastic things like starving yourself only to binge eat later, or getting radical surgery to lose weight or taking dangerous drugs.

After Holiday Weight Loss Hypnosis

Filed under: Hypnosis Weight Loss — EatingToLive @ 3:33 pm

Ever notice how it is almost everyone’s year end resolution to begin the new year with a new lease on their weight control and weight loss life?  It seems that everybody thinks they have a little excess baggage when it comes to weight, even those conventionally considered skinny may make new resolutions to eat better, work out more, be more active or simply eat more veggies and fruits instead of easy convenience snacks that are salty or sweet.

It’s no surprise that weight loss hypnotherapy CD’s and systems where one essentially hypnotizes themselves by going into a deep state of relaxation via listening to a CD, is extremely popular during this time of year.  Especially since most of us have pigged out on sweets, potatoes, starches, and fatty foods that seem to be within reach every day from Thanksgiving until Christmas.  People essentially make the decision that they want to lose weight at that time of year, and we see a lot of interest in products that can help them regain that willpower to lose the weight via self hypnosis for weight loss.

I’ve actually shared with you my experience with hypnosis and weight loss, and the power that I think subliminal or suggestive thinking has over your natural appetite suppressants that are in your mind and your chemical makeup.  I do believe that hypnosis is quite a powerful way to get back in control and basically whip your body back in shape by inhibiting cravings for bad foods as well as increasing cravings for good foods like water, fruits and vegetables.  You almost can’t help but crave foods that are good when you go through an effective hypnotherapy program for weight loss, and that is why these CD’s have become so popular.

Why Hypnosis Works for Weight Loss

Filed under: Hypnosis Weight Loss — EatingToLive @ 8:07 am

I was just listening to a weight loss hypnosis CD, and musing on why it works, at least why it works on me. I get into such a deep sense of relaxation when I listen to them, that any suggestion that is made by the dictator of the tape (see Wendi Friesen weightloss hypnosis set review) is just absorbed by my mind, whether I like it or not.I used to think that hypnosis was sort of hocus pocus, but when I go throughout my day with nary an appetite when I was eating everything voraciously just the day before (I tend to be a hormonal eater - I eat a lot certain days which tend to coincide with my hormonal and menstrual cycle) I can’t help but acknowledge the wonderous effects that hypnosis can have on a person if they just learn to relax during their sessions.

Hypnosis is indeed a powerful concept, and it does work. You might even feel ridiculous listening to them, because they do tend to sound like affirmations of some sort, but they really get through to you, and if you think about it, hunger is all in your mind. If you can harness your mind and get hunger in your corner through hypnosis and actually curb your appetite without pills or just starve yourself, the possibilities to actually change your eating habits for life become almost unavoidable. I truly think that anyone who is trying to lose weight needs to try self hypnotherapy for weight loss.

Hypnotherapy and Losing Weight

Filed under: Hypnosis Weight Loss — EatingToLive @ 6:01 am

Hypnosis seems to some to be such an abstract concept, unless you’ve actually been under hypnosis to conquer certain problems or subconscious issues, then and only then can you truly understand that hypnosis is such a powerful practice, and it can actually be practiced on one’s self through CD’s and/or tapes, which is the really great part!

Hypnotherapy for weight loss is definitely catching on though.  There was actually a special on hypnosis for weight loss on a major and very respected news program where several participants demonstrated that hypnosis and dieting compared with just “dieting” without the mental backup of hypnotism, lost much more weight and actually kept it off rather than just gaining it all back.

Hypnotism actually conditions the human mind, and has lasting effects.  If you want to read more about this, see DDB’s new page excusively dedicated to hypnotism and weight loss and how it can benefit even the biggest skeptics.  I’ll even tell you a little bit about my experience with self administered hypnotherapy and weight loss

Hypnotism and Weight Loss

Filed under: Hypnosis Weight Loss — EatingToLive @ 10:14 pm

Hypnotism is such an abstract concept to some, and one can understand why.  The idea that we can be subconsciously manipulated to think a certain way or desire certain things without necessarily fully understanding why may be somewhat unnerving for some.  But for weight loss, hypnosis has been nothing short of a blessing for thousands of people needing to shed weight that they just can’t seem to shake, or that they just can’t seem to keep off over the long haul.

You see, hypnosis is a long term fix to the weight loss issue facing many today.  Self hypnosis can be administered easily to anyone now that there are CD’s and tapes put out by reputable and renowned hypnotherapists who help to coax the subconscious mind for underlying issues as to why a person is overweight, and to “subliminally” suggest on a subconscious level why a person should desire healthy foods, want to work out, and actually feel more full after eating less, or minimizing their appetite at a subconscious deep level.

I’ve put a new page on DDB dedicated specifically to this powerful weight loss method of hypnosis, and to actually recommend a highly successful and effective set of weight loss hypnosis CD’s that has helped countless others lose the weight they need to lose and keep it off.  We hope you enjoy reading - it really is nothing short of fascinating that we can manipulate our minds to accomplish great things and to maintain those achievements over time through the use of suggestive conditioning….
